(Inspiration for this piece:)Each weekday morning on my way to high school at this very subway station, my anticipation for the 3 train to come was always at a peak, especially on Monday mornings to see my name up on the subway train cars I bombed on Friday night in the 3 train yard. This portrait of this sparks remembrance of feelings of excitement, self pride, defiance and purpose.
